Union Welcomes David Jakubowski as President
I’m excited to announce that David Jakubowski has joined Union as President.
David has an exceptional track record of leading and scaling world-class teams. He has held executive leadership roles at Microsoft and Meta and has served as CEO or founding member of three venture-backed companies, all of which achieved successful exits. David combines deep technical expertise in product development with a proven ability to map innovation to successful commercialization. As a leader, he builds teams that execute strategy, connect with customers, and deliver growth. His people-first approach ensures that teams are empowered to scale, invest, and drive meaningful results.
Since our founding, Union’s goal has been to vastly improve AI development workflows for engineering teams by bringing machine learning, platform, data, and ops teams together in a unified platform.
David’s arrival comes at an exciting time for Union. We’ve recently launched new features to support integrations and scale with NVIDIA GPUs — all focused on making, building, developing, and deploying AI workflows more straightforward and more intuitive than ever. Union was founded to solve long-standing challenges faced by ML teams. With David aboard, I have a partner to join me in leading Union to our next chapter focusing on commercialization and growth. I’m confident David is the person to lead our GTM efforts and ensure we scale Union to drive impact for our global customer base.
Our commitment to Flyte remains a cornerstone of our strategy. Union continues to be the leading contributor to the open-source Flyte project, which large organizations like Spotify, LinkedIn, Gojek, Cradle, and Stripe have adopted to manage their mission-critical ML workflows. We’re committed to ensuring Flyte continues to be the standard for ML workflow orchestration.
